Refund Policy

Last updated 16 September 2026
In plain words

PaperKit no longer sells anything — every template is free to download — but premium unlocks were sold between 14 and 18 September 2026 and this policy still governs them. A premium purchase is refundable in full until you actually downloaded a PDF with it. Once a PDF had been downloaded, the purchase is not refundable: the thing you bought was delivered.

One-time purchases, not subscriptions

Every premium unlock on PaperKit — Premium download, Premium pass, 1 month and Premium pass, 1 year — was a one-time purchase. Nothing auto-renewed and there is no subscription to cancel. None of the three is on sale any longer, which the pricing page says; prices are not repeated here.

Before you've downloaded a PDF

If a purchase has never downloaded a PDF, it is refundable in full, on request. If you paid and haven't used it to download anything yet, ask and we will refund it.

After you've downloaded a PDF

Once a PDF has been downloaded with it, the purchase is not refundable — the thing you bought has been delivered, the same way a downloaded file or a used ticket is not returnable elsewhere.

Passes expire on their own

Passes are time-boxed — 24 hours, 30 days, or one year, depending on which one you bought — and expire automatically at the end of that period. Expiry is not a cancellation and needs no action from you; there is nothing to turn off.

How to request a refund

Email [email protected] with your payment id. It's easiest to ask while your pass is still active, since that's when we can check fastest — but what actually decides a refund is whether a PDF was downloaded, not when you ask. We'll check that against your purchase and let you know.

Every template is free either way

Every template on PaperKit is free to download, with no account and no watermark — including the twelve that were briefly premium. That is true whether or not you ever bought an unlock and whether or not a refund is given, and a refund never changes it.
