We build tools for the documents you still have to print

PaperKit is built and operated by CodeSierra, a small software studio in India. We started with a resume builder because every free one we tried asked for money at the download step. The kit grew from there.

Why we built it

PaperKit began with a familiar, infuriating moment: a friend finished building a resume on a “free” tool, hit download, and was asked for a card. The resume he had just spent an hour on was held hostage behind a watermark and a subscription.

So we built the opposite. PaperKit is genuinely free, no account, no trial, no watermark, for a resume, a marriage biodata, a job biodata or a formal letter. You pick a template, fill in structured fields, and download a clean PDF. For four days in September 2026 twelve of the layouts were sold as one-time unlocks. They are not sold now; every one of them is open to everybody, no template that was free ever moved the other way, and nothing PaperKit prints has ever carried a watermark.

We keep the lights on with a few clearly-labeled ads on our guides and format pages: never inside the editor, never between you and your download.

Who is behind it

PaperKit is a product of CodeSierra, an India-based software studio. CodeSierra builds and operates the product, pays for the hosting, and answers the inbox.

The team is a handful of engineers and a former campus-placement mentor who spent years editing students’ resumes by hand. We build in the open, ship in public, and read every message sent to us.

What we stand for

Free means free

No trial that bills you on day four. No credit card, and no template that turns paid at the download button. There is no premium tier: every layout in every tool downloads as a PDF for nothing.

Your data stays yours

Everything you type lives in your browser, and it stays there when you download: the PDF is built in the tab by the same renderer that draws the preview. Nothing is uploaded, so there is no server-side copy to store or log.

Built for the next phone, not the last laptop

Mobile-first, light on data, fast on mid-range Android. The way most of India actually applies for a job or sends a biodata.

How we pay for it

A few clearly-labeled ads on the guides and format pages pay for the servers: never in the editor, never between you and your download, and never on the home page or in resume-examples. Every one of the 4 tools is free to use, with no account and no watermark.

If advertising ever stops covering the hosting, we will say so on this page before we change anything.

What we will not do

Ask you to create an account to build, or to download anything
Watermark a document you make
Keep a copy of your draft on our servers
Sell, share or train on what you type
Auto-renew anything, or keep your card on file
