Job biodata format in Hindi: नौकरी के लिए बायोडाटा, from पिता का नाम to घोषणा
A biodata for a job — नौकरी के लिए बायोडाटा — is a completely different document from the one a rishta needs, and this page is about the first: which rows a Hindi office expects, what stays in English, and how the declaration is worded.
Free · no account · no watermark · one-page PDF
Two documents, one word — and this is the one you hand to an employer
In Hindi-speaking India the word बायोडाटा is used for two documents that have nothing to do with each other. A rishta comes through a relative and somebody says “बायोडाटा भेज दीजिए”, and they mean a marriage proposal sheet, with the horoscope rows and the family on it. A block office, a private इंटर कॉलेज or a firm advertising for a कंप्यूटर ऑपरेटर says exactly the same sentence and means a one-page personal record: पिता का नाम, जन्म तिथि, your qualifications with the marks, whatever work you have done, and a signed घोषणा at the foot. This page is about the second one only. The marriage one has its own Hindi guide on this site and it is linked at the end, because a page written for one is close to useless for the other.
The people who ask for this document in Hindi are specific and they are not hard to picture: the जन सेवा केंद्र that needs a second operator, an इंटर कॉलेज looking for a लिपिक, a mill office in Kanpur, a नगर पालिका contract post, a chemist’s shop, a coaching institute, a diagnostic centre. The advertisement is in Hindi, the form handed across the counter is in Hindi, and the clerk who files your page works in Hindi all day. A biodata in हिन्दी is read faster there, and more usefully, its rows line up with the columns of the register your details are going to be copied into by hand.
One thing has to be said plainly before the rest of the page, because it decides whether any of this applies to you. If your application goes through a company’s careers portal or a job site — anything you upload rather than hand over — then the document read at the other end is a résumé, not a biodata. Files arriving that way are usually put through an applicant tracking system before a person opens them, and that software is looking for job titles, dates and skills it can pull into fields. A tabular sheet that opens with पिता का नाम gives it almost nothing to index. There is a free résumé builder on this site, linked at the foot of this page, and if you are applying that way, that is honestly where you should be.
The last thing worth settling early is that a Hindi biodata is not an English one put through a translator. The labels are conventional, and conventional means an office recognises them without reading them: शैक्षणिक योग्यता, कार्य अनुभव, कौशल, प्रमाण पत्र एवं प्रशिक्षण, घोषणा. So are the names of the examinations. A Gorakhpur desk reads हाई स्कूल and इंटरमीडिएट; SSC and HSC belong to Maharashtra and Gujarat, and a page carrying them in a UP office reads as a template somebody downloaded and did not change. That recognition is most of what the Hindi version buys you, which is why the useful part of this page is the vocabulary rather than the theory.

The sheet, block by block, with the labels an office expects
प्रीति’s biodata has six blocks: व्यक्तिगत विवरण, शैक्षणिक योग्यता, कार्य अनुभव, कौशल, प्रमाण पत्र एवं प्रशिक्षण and घोषणा. Here is what goes in each of them, in Hindi, with the decisions a Hindi-medium applicant actually has to make.
- 01
The header: the name, and the line that names the post
The top of the page — the name, one line saying what you have studied and which post this is for, then the town, the phone number and an email address.
प्रीति’s header is three short things and nothing else: प्रीति यादव, then the line “बी.ए. (2025) · पद हेतु आवेदन: कंप्यूटर ऑपरेटर”, then गोरखपुर, उत्तर प्रदेश with a mobile number and an email address beside it. That middle line is worth copying word for word, because पद हेतु आवेदन is the phrasing a Hindi office uses on its own forms. Written as “जॉब के लिए” it says the page was typed at home by somebody guessing; written the conventional way it says you have filled in one of these before.
Name the post exactly as the advertisement named it. If the विज्ञप्ति says कंप्यूटर ऑपरेटर, the header says कंप्यूटर ऑपरेटर — not “कंप्यूटर का काम” and not a broader title you think sounds better. Offices advertising three posts at once sort the pile by that line, and a sheet that does not say which post it is for goes to the bottom of the pile or into the wrong one.
Two parts of the header stay in Latin whatever else happens. The email address, because an address written in Devanagari cannot be typed back into a browser by the person holding your page. And the digits of the phone number, because they get dialled. Keep the digits in one set through the whole document — the sample uses Latin digits for the phone, the dates, the years and the percentages, which is what almost every office now does — and use the number that is actually answered during office hours.
- 02
व्यक्तिगत विवरण: the eight rows a Hindi form asks for
The block that decides whether your page looks like the proforma the office already uses, or like something borrowed from somewhere else.
The eight, in the order the sample prints them: That is the whole personal block a private employer in a Hindi-speaking state expects, and a page that leaves half of it out looks incomplete to the person who has to file it.
श्री and श्रीमती are not decoration on the parents’ rows; leaving them off is the kind of thing an older clerk notices. Write both names as they are printed on your certificates rather than as the family shortens them, because these two rows are what an office cross-checks your marksheet against when two applicants share a name. On a Marathi page the mother’s row would carry सौ. instead of श्रीमती, which is one of the few real differences between the two label sets.
जन्म तिथि goes in with the month spelled out — 17 जून 2004 — so that nobody has to decide whether 06/17 or 17/06 was meant, and take the date from your हाई स्कूल प्रमाण पत्र rather than from memory or from an Aadhaar card. In UP and Bihar the date on the high school certificate is the one every later office treats as official, and a biodata that disagrees with it creates a problem at the verification stage that is tedious to undo. The age itself does not go on the page: it goes stale, the date does not.
ज्ञात भाषाएँ carries the bracket — (पढ़ना, लिखना, बोलना) — and it is worth being honest inside it, because a firm that needs Hindi correspondence typed, not merely spoken, is asking a real question and can test the answer in two minutes. भोजपुरी on the list earns its place for a counter job where people walk in speaking it; it earns nothing on a post where the work is correspondence. Where your English is reading and writing but not confident speech, say so the way the experienced sample does: अंग्रेज़ी (पढ़ना, लिखना).
- 03
Your name in Devanagari or in Roman, and what to do when the form is in English
The one script decision on a Hindi biodata that can cost you at the verification stage rather than merely look untidy.
The rule is simple: the page answers the document that asked for it. A Hindi advertisement and a Hindi form get a Hindi biodata with the name in Devanagari — प्रीति यादव — because that is what the clerk will copy into the register. An English advertisement and an English form get an English page with the name in Roman. What does not work is a Devanagari name at the top of a page attached to an English form, because then somebody else transliterates your name for you, and their spelling is the one that goes into the file.
Underneath that sits a rule that matters more: one Roman spelling, everywhere, for life. Preeti, Priti and Pritee are three different candidates as far as a scrutiny clerk is concerned, and the spelling that settles it is the one printed on your हाई स्कूल certificate, because that is the document every later verification works back to. Use it on every English form, every email address you apply from, and every file name. If your certificate spelling and your Aadhaar spelling already differ, apply with the certificate spelling and carry the other document to explain it, rather than choosing whichever looks better this week.
हस्ताक्षर in Hindi is completely normal and perfectly valid, and so is signing in English on a Hindi page — offices see both every day. What they do not want is a signature that has changed shape since your certificates were issued. Pick the one you use on bank documents, sign the printed copy in ink above your typed name, and keep it identical on the biodata, the application form and the receipt you sign when handing the file in.
- 04
श्रेणी, आधार and the rows a सरकारी form adds
What a government-adjacent notification asks for beyond the eight rows, and whether any of it belongs on the sheet itself.
The eight personal rows cover a private employer completely. A सरकारी or semi-government notification usually wants four more: अभ्यर्थी की श्रेणी — सामान्य, अन्य पिछड़ा वर्ग, अनुसूचित जाति or अनुसूचित जनजाति — along with पत्राचार का पता where it differs from the permanent one, आधार संख्या, and the पंजीकरण संख्या or रोल नंबर that the online application gave you.
Add them only when the notification asks for them. The श्रेणी row in particular is not a default: a private firm never asked, it cannot use the answer, and handing it over unasked is a decision you would not make deliberately. Hindi templates circulating on WhatsApp routinely ship with that row already in place, which is how it ends up on pages going to shops and clinics. If your form asks, put it in; otherwise leave it off and answer it on the form where it was actually asked.
पत्राचार का पता deserves a line whenever you are living away from home while you apply — a call letter posted to गोरखपुर while you are in नोएडा is a post you never hear about again. Give both addresses, label them, and put the phone number against the one where somebody will actually receive the letter.
- 05
शैक्षणिक योग्यता: हाई स्कूल, इंटरमीडिएट and the board’s own name
The block a Hindi-medium applicant most often gets wrong, because one state’s examination vocabulary has been copied onto another state’s certificates.
प्रीति’s three lines run newest first. बी.ए. — समाजशास्त्र, दीन दयाल उपाध्याय गोरखपुर विश्वविद्यालय, 2022 — 2025, with कुल 66.8% · द्वितीय श्रेणी and the optional subjects named. 2020, 78.2%. Institution, board or university, years, marks: four facts on every line, including the school lines a fresher has no business dropping yet.
Use the board’s own names for its examinations. UP Board calls them हाई स्कूल and इंटरमीडिएट and a UP office reads those two words without pausing. In Bihar, बिहार विद्यालय परीक्षा समिति calls the tenth मैट्रिक and the twelfth इंटरमीडिएट, and मैट्रिक is the right word to use there. 10वीं and 12वीं are understood everywhere but read as informal on a document that will be filed. SSC and HSC are Maharashtra and Gujarat vocabulary and they do not belong on a यू.पी. बोर्ड line at all.
The board name goes on the biodata in its short, recognised form — यू.पी. बोर्ड, or बी.एस.ई.बी. in Bihar. The full formal name, उत्तर प्रदेश माध्यमिक शिक्षा परिषद्, प्रयागराज, belongs on a form that gives you a whole line for it, not on a sheet where it would push the marks off the row. If your board was CBSE or ICSE, name it as such and keep the rest of the line in Hindi; nobody expects a board’s registered name to be translated.
Copy the marks off the marksheet and leave them alone. 66.8% is 66.8%, not 67%, and द्वितीय श्रेणी is what the degree says whatever you feel about it — the figure on your page gets compared with the figure on the certificate at the same table, and the person doing the comparing is not looking for a reason to be generous. One more distinction the block itself hides: the biodata shows the session, 2022 — 2025, but a form asking उत्तीर्ण वर्ष wants the year you passed, which is 2025. Both are right in their own place, and writing the session into the उत्तीर्ण वर्ष box is a very common way to have a form sent back.

कार्य अनुभव: a जन सेवा केंद्र counts, and here is how to say so
What a small-town fresher actually has behind them, and how to write it in Hindi so that it reads as work rather than as time that passed.
प्रीति has one entry: डाटा एंट्री प्रशिक्षु, जन सेवा केंद्र (CSC), बिछिया, गोरखपुर, फरवरी 2025 — जुलाई 2025. Under it, two lines. The first says she filled आधार, आयुष्मान and वृद्धावस्था पेंशन applications online, प्रतिदिन औसतन 40 से 50 फ़ॉर्म. The second says she scanned applicants’ documents into files, made out receipts, and matched the नकद रजिस्टर at the end of the day.
The numbers are what turn that from a claim into information. 40 से 50 फ़ॉर्म a day tells an employer hiring a कंप्यूटर ऑपरेटर the exact thing they want to know, which is whether you can work at speed with a queue in front of you. Wherever you have a number — forms a day, students in a batch, counters handled, the size of the register — put it in. Where you have none, name the actual system instead: the portal, the software, the register, the machine.
The failure specific to Hindi here is the empty verb. “कंप्यूटर का कार्य किया”, “कार्यालय में सहयोग किया”, “अनुभव प्राप्त किया” — grammatical, polite and entirely without content, and a screener reads three of them and moves on. Say what you touched and what came out of it, in the same plain Hindi you would use telling a neighbour what the job involved.
Everything counts and goes in with its dates: unpaid help at the family shop, three months at a coaching class, a training stint, a stall at a mela, a village survey you were paid daily wages for. A short कार्य अनुभव block is a great deal better than an empty one, and an employer reading a fresher’s page is checking whether you have ever had to turn up somewhere at a fixed time, not whether you have a career.
- 07
कौशल: the टंकण row that gets tested the same afternoon
Three labelled rows rather than a scatter of words, and one of them is a claim the office can check in five minutes.
The sample’s three: Software names stay in Latin because that is how they appear on the screen and on your CCC certificate; everything around them is Hindi.
Name the keyboard layout on the टंकण row, not just the speed. कृतिदेव is the old non-Unicode font a great many typists in UP and Bihar learned on; मंगल is the Unicode layout that government typing tests are conducted in. Somebody fluent at 30 words a minute in कृतिदेव can be badly slow in मंगल, and a typing test at the counter is exactly where that shows up. Say which one you are quick in, say if you are comfortable in both, and practise the other before the test rather than after it.
The अन्य row exists to answer the two questions a small employer always asks out loud: how far will you travel, and when can you start. गोरखपुर मंडल में कहीं भी कार्य करने को तैयार and तुरंत कार्यभार ग्रहण कर सकती हूँ answer both in one line each. Note the सकती in the second, which agrees with प्रीति; a man’s page says सकता हूँ. It is the same agreement that catches people out in the घोषणा at the foot of the sheet.
- 08
प्रमाण पत्र एवं प्रशिक्षण: the short list an office will ask to see
Two or three lines, each one a document you can put on the table the moment somebody asks for it.
प्रीति lists two: CCC (कोर्स ऑन कंप्यूटर कॉन्सेप्ट्स) — NIELIT, 2023 · ग्रेड B, and ‘ओ’ स्तर (O Level) प्रमाण पत्र — NIELIT अध्ययन केंद्र, गोरखपुर, 2024. For clerical and operator posts across UP and Bihar this is the block that decides eligibility rather than merely decorating it: notifications frequently name CCC as the minimum computer qualification, and an O Level certificate answers it comfortably. Give the awarding body and the year on every line, and the grade where you have one worth printing.
Keep the list to things that exist on paper. A course you attended without a certificate is not a certificate, and it is the line somebody asks about. Carry स्वप्रमाणित छायाप्रतियाँ — self-attested photocopies — of everything you have listed, in the order you listed them, because the office that asks to see one will ask to see all of them at the same sitting.
- 09
घोषणा: मैं घोषणा करता हूँ, or करती हूँ
The closing block, and the single most-noticed slip on a Hindi biodata — one letter, and it tells the reader the page was downloaded rather than written.
प्रीति’s reads: मैं घोषणा करती हूँ कि ऊपर दी गई समस्त जानकारी मेरी जानकारी एवं विश्वास के अनुसार सत्य और सही है। Below it, स्थान: गोरखपुर, then दिनांक: 8 सितंबर 2026, then a ruled line above the printed name for the हस्ताक्षर. That is the whole block, and it is what turns a list of rows into a statement somebody has put their name to.
The verb agrees with you and not with the template. A man writes करता हूँ; a woman writes करती हूँ. The experienced Hindi sample on this site, मनोज कुमार वर्मा, carries मैं घोषणा करता हूँ for exactly that reason. This is the error a Hindi reader spots instantly and forgives least, because it does not look like a typing slip — it looks like a page copied from somebody else and never read to the end. Check it every time you reuse the file, particularly if the copy came from a friend.
The wording itself is flexible and all the usual forms are accepted: मैं घोषणा करता / करती हूँ, मैं प्रमाणित करता / करती हूँ, एतद्द्वारा घोषणा करता / करती हूँ. Keep it to one sentence, keep सत्य और सही rather than inventing something more formal, and make दिनांक the day you actually hand the page over — a declaration dated four months ago on a freshly printed sheet is the second thing people notice. Sign in ink on the printed copy, and leave the ruled line in place in the PDF so there is somewhere to sign in the room.
The same page, in five different offices
What moves when the reader changes. In every one of these it is the office on the other side of the counter that decides the shape of your page, not you — and the closer you get to a government form, the less freedom you have.
A सरकारी or semi-government notification
Here the विज्ञप्ति is the specification and it beats every general rule on this page. Many notifications print the प्रारूप they want, down to the order of the columns, the size of the photograph and the wording of the declaration, and a page that departs from it is rejected at scrutiny without anyone reading the content. Reproduce their format rather than yours, keep the अनुलग्नक list in the order the notification numbers it, write the पंजीकरण संख्या on the top copy, and carry स्वप्रमाणित छायाप्रतियाँ of every certificate you have named. Where the notification is in Hindi, everything you submit is in Hindi, including the covering sheet.
A private firm that advertised in Hindi
A shop, a workshop, a wholesale trader, a clinic, a coaching institute: the owner or a manager reads the applications personally, usually off a printed pile on the desk, and the phrase they used in the advertisement was बायोडाटा लेकर आइए. Give them exactly the sheet above — one page, photograph on it, the eight personal rows, qualifications with years and marks, whatever work there is, signed at the bottom — and carry two copies, because the second goes into a file if the conversation goes anywhere. This is the document’s home ground; a person in this position genuinely finds it easier to read than anything else you could hand over.
An इंटर कॉलेज, a school or a coaching institute office
Educational offices keep staff files and staff files have a fixed shape, so what is wanted is the full block set with nothing left out and every certificate available on the spot. Marks matter here more than almost anywhere else, and so does the board: a यू.पी. बोर्ड line and a CBSE line are read as different facts about the same class. If the post is a teaching one, the block order stays as it is but your training and qualification lines — बी.एड., टी.ई.टी., सी.टी.ई.टी. — go into शैक्षणिक योग्यता with their years and roll numbers to hand, because those are the lines the manager will verify first.
Bihar and Jharkhand, where the vocabulary shifts
The document is the same but two words change and they are the two an office looks at first. The tenth is मैट्रिक rather than हाई स्कूल, and the board is बिहार विद्यालय परीक्षा समिति, पटना — बी.एस.ई.बी. on the biodata line. Keep the twelfth as इंटरमीडिएट, which is what both states call it. Everything else — the eight personal rows, the marks copied off the marksheet, the घोषणा — is unchanged. If you studied in one state and are applying in another, name the board plainly rather than assuming the reader will recognise a school, because a name that means nothing to them is a line they have to ask you about.
When there are years of work behind you
The Hindi sheet for somebody already in a trade is a different arrangement of the same blocks: कार्य अनुभव moves above शैक्षणिक योग्यता, because that is what a supervisor reads first. The experienced Hindi sample — मनोज कुमार वर्मा, विद्युत पर्यवेक्षक at a Kanpur mill — puts the substation, the transformer, the two DG sets and the nine men he supervises in the first bullets, and pushes हाई स्कूल down to a single line with its percentage. The school marks stay on the page, because a Hindi office still wants them, but they stop being the argument.
Making the page match your certificates, letter for letter
Every fact on a job biodata is checkable, and at some point somebody sits down with your page in one hand and your certificates in the other. That is the whole reason for the rules that follow: not tidiness, but the fact that a mismatch turns into a query, and a query turns into a second visit.
Four things get checked in practice. Your name and your father’s name, against the हाई स्कूल certificate. The जन्म तिथि, against the same certificate, which in UP and Bihar is treated as the official record of it. The percentages, against the marksheets. And the board and the year, against both. Copy all of them off the documents rather than from an older biodata you already have — a figure that was typed wrong once has a way of being copied forward for years.
Where a genuine discrepancy already exists between two of your own documents, do not hide it by picking whichever suits the form. Apply with the certificate version, carry the other document, and say so if you are asked. An office that finds the difference itself treats it very differently from an office you told.
Keeping the same sheet in English, and keeping the two identical
Sooner or later a Hindi-medium applicant needs the English version — a company in Noida advertises the same post, a consultancy asks over WhatsApp, a form arrives printed in English. Make the second version once, properly, and keep both files rather than translating under pressure the night before.
What changes between them is only the labels and the prose: Father’s Name for पिता का नाम, Languages Known for ज्ञात भाषाएँ, and “High School (U.P. Board)” for हाई स्कूल — spelled that way rather than turned into SSC, because the certificate says High School and the certificate is what gets verified. The declaration becomes the ordinary English sentence about the information being true to the best of your knowledge and belief, and the करता / करती question disappears with it.
What must not change is a single number. The same percentage, the same years, the same dates, the same spelling of the same board. Two copies of your own biodata that disagree with each other is worse than either of them alone, and it is the easiest mistake to make, because the second version always gets typed in a hurry.
Printing it, signing it, and what goes into the folder with it
Print on plain A4, one side only, black on white. A Hindi page carries more fine detail per line than an English one — the matras above the headline stroke are the first thing a bad photocopy loses — so print it fresh rather than photocopying a photocopy, and keep a spare printed copy in the folder for the office that keeps yours.
Sign in ink over the ruled line, put the day’s date next to दिनांक, and affix the photograph if you are handing over a printed sheet whose photo box is empty. Behind the biodata go the स्वप्रमाणित छायाप्रतियाँ in the order the page lists them: हाई स्कूल first if the form counts upward, or the degree first if the form counts downward — follow the form, and put the originals in a separate sleeve rather than in the same stack, because that stack sometimes stays on the desk.
Where the page is being emailed or sent on WhatsApp, send the PDF and not a photograph of the printed sheet. Beyond the obvious loss of quality, an office that receives a PDF whose Devanagari is real selectable text can copy your name and your qualifications straight into their register, which is exactly the small favour you want to be doing the person deciding whether to call you.
When the form asks for something the page does not carry
Government-adjacent forms ask for a good deal that has no row on a biodata: रोल नंबर and पंजीकरण संख्या, आधार and PAN, an अनुभव प्रमाण पत्र from a previous employer, वेतन की अपेक्षा, a caste or income certificate with its issue date, sometimes a medical fitness line. None of that belongs on the sheet by default.
Answer it on the form, where it was asked, and keep a single page of notes in your folder with those numbers written down so you are not searching your phone at the counter. The biodata’s job is to be the one page that stays the same for every application; the moment you start adding a row for each form you have filled, it stops being reusable and starts collecting information you would not choose to hand to the next employer.
The exception is anything the notification explicitly says must appear on the biodata itself. Then it goes on, worded the way the notification words it, and it comes off again before the page is sent anywhere else.
Where Hindi job biodatas actually go wrong
करता हूँ left standing on a woman’s page
The commonest defect in Hindi biodatas and the one that is noticed fastest. A man declares करता हूँ, a woman करती हूँ, and a mismatch reads as a page copied from somebody else and never read to the end. Check the सकता / सकती in the कौशल block at the same time.
SSC and HSC written on a यू.पी. बोर्ड line
Those are Maharashtra and Gujarat words. UP Board issues certificates for हाई स्कूल and इंटरमीडिएट, Bihar for मैट्रिक and इंटरमीडिएट, and using the wrong pair marks the page as a template borrowed from another state — on the one block an office is going to verify against the certificate itself.
One spelling of your name on the biodata, another on the marksheet
Preeti, Priti and Pritee are three candidates as far as a verification clerk is concerned. Pick the spelling on your हाई स्कूल certificate and keep it on every form, every email address and every file name for the rest of your working life.
Marks rounded up, or a श्रेणी you did not get
66.8% becoming 67%, or द्वितीय श्रेणी written as प्रथम, is checked at the same table where your marksheet is lying. It costs the whole application rather than the one line, because a figure that has been improved raises a question about every other figure on the page.
A typing speed claimed in the wrong layout
30 शब्द प्रति मिनट learned on कृतिदेव is not 30 शब्द प्रति मिनट on मंगल यूनिकोड, and government typing tests are set in the second one. Say which layout the speed refers to, and practise the other before you are sitting at their machine.
The marriage biodata sent to an employer
It happens because both files are called बायोडाटा and one of them is already finished. A page carrying गोत्र, राशि and जीवनसाथी से अपेक्षाएँ tells an employer nothing about the post, and hands over caste and horoscope details they never asked for and cannot use.
Questions people actually ask
How do I write a job biodata in Hindi?
Keep the six conventional blocks and the conventional labels: व्यक्तिगत विवरण with पिता का नाम, माता का नाम, जन्म तिथि, लिंग, वैवाहिक स्थिति, राष्ट्रीयता, ज्ञात भाषाएँ and स्थायी पता; then शैक्षणिक योग्यता newest first with the board, the year and the marks on every line; then कार्य अनुभव; then कौशल; then प्रमाण पत्र एवं प्रशिक्षण; then a signed घोषणा with स्थान and दिनांक. Keep software names, the email address and the digits in Latin, and use the examination names your own board uses — हाई स्कूल and इंटरमीडिएट in UP, मैट्रिक and इंटरमीडिएट in Bihar.
Should the declaration say करता हूँ or करती हूँ?
It agrees with the person signing, not with the template you started from. A man writes मैं घोषणा करता हूँ कि ऊपर दी गई समस्त जानकारी मेरी जानकारी एवं विश्वास के अनुसार सत्य और सही है, and a woman writes मैं घोषणा करती हूँ with the rest unchanged. मैं प्रमाणित करता / करती हूँ and एतद्द्वारा घोषणा करता / करती हूँ are equally acceptable wordings. The same agreement applies anywhere else on the page where you speak in the first person, such as तुरंत कार्यभार ग्रहण कर सकता / सकती हूँ in the कौशल block.
Should my name be in Hindi or in English on a job biodata?
Follow the document that asked for the biodata. A Hindi advertisement and a Hindi form get the name in Devanagari, because that is what the clerk copies into the register; an English form gets it in Roman. What matters more is that your Roman spelling never changes: use the transliteration printed on your हाई स्कूल certificate on every English form, email address and file name, because that certificate is what every later verification works back to. A Devanagari name on a page attached to an English form means somebody else chooses your spelling for you.
How do I write a UP Board or Bihar Board result on a Hindi biodata?
Use the board’s own words and its own figures. In UP: हाई स्कूल and इंटरमीडिएट, the school named, यू.पी. बोर्ड as the board, the year of passing, and the percentage exactly as the marksheet prints it — for example इंटरमीडिएट (कला), राजकीय बालिका इंटर कॉलेज, गोरखपुर — यू.पी. बोर्ड, 2022, 71.4%. In Bihar the tenth is मैट्रिक and the board is बिहार विद्यालय परीक्षा समिति (बी.एस.ई.बी.). Note that a form asking उत्तीर्ण वर्ष wants the year you passed, not the session, even though the biodata line shows the session for a degree.
Can I send a Hindi biodata when the advertisement is in English?
You can, but it is usually the weaker choice. If the advertisement, the form and the correspondence are in English, send the English version, because a Hindi page attached to an English form leaves somebody else to transliterate your name and your qualifications into the file. Where the office is bilingual, which many district offices and small firms are, either is fine — send the language the form is printed in. The safe answer is to keep both versions of the same sheet, with identical marks, years and dates, so the choice takes a minute rather than an evening.
I searched for biodata format in Hindi and got a marriage biodata. Which one do I need?
Work from who asked. If a relative, a rishta or a marriage bureau asked, they mean the marriage biodata: गोत्र, राशि and नक्षत्र, the family block, and जीवनसाथी से अपेक्षाएँ. That is a different guide on this site and it is linked from this page. If an employer, a school office, a जन सेवा केंद्र or a सरकारी form asked, they mean the document on this page: पिता का नाम, जन्म तिथि, qualifications with marks and years, कार्य अनुभव and a signed घोषणा. Sending either one in the other’s place reads as careless, because the rows the reader was looking for simply are not there.
Start from a finished Hindi sheet, not a blank one
The maker opens on प्रीति यादव’s biodata exactly as it appears above — every label already in Devanagari, every row filled in. Type your own name over hers, put in your board, your years and your marks, fix the घोषणा to करता हूँ if you are a man, drop your photograph into the frame, and download a one-page PDF whose Hindi is real selectable text rather than a picture of text. No account, no watermark, nothing held back at the download.
